Flatbed (also called "rollback") towing is required for several vehicle types where traditional wheel-lift towing would cause damage:

All-Wheel Drive (AWD) vehicles: Subaru, Audi, Tesla, Acura, Mercedes 4Matic, BMW xDrive — towing these with wheels on the ground can damage the drivetrain.

Electric vehicles: Every EV (Tesla, Rivian, Mach-E, Lucid, etc.) must be transported on a flatbed per manufacturer guidelines.

Low-clearance sports cars: Corvettes, Porsches, lowered vehicles — they bottom out on traditional ramps and need flatbed loading.

Damaged vehicles: Cars with bent suspension, broken wheels, or accident damage often can't be wheel-lifted safely.

Luxury and classic vehicles: Anything you don't want road grime sprayed on, anything with delicate paint or expensive trim.

We've operated flatbed trucks since long before they were common in the towing industry. Our flatbeds are well-maintained, properly equipped with multiple tie-down points, and operated by drivers with decades of flatbed loading experience. We use soft straps to protect bodywork and we're careful about the loading angle to avoid bottoming out.
